1. 30.03.45 21:58 06:46 SOE FLANK 2. S/Ldr Fisher was sucessful in dropping his full load on the Dz. At 01.25 position 59.26.N 01:25 appear to be a flare was seen about 20 miles oin the port quarter but it exploded on hitting earth. At 03:25 position 57.44.N 08.20E what llooked like another flare was shoot up into the air where it burnt brightley, then fell bak into the sea where it continued to burn for some time.
2. 30.03.45 22:06 06:43 SOE FLANK 2. F/O Lewis sucessfully dropped 17 containers but had to bring his three packages back as door had iced up. At position 58.42 9.11E time 01:27 a JU88 passed close by a reciprocal heading and three minutes later an aircraft was seen to catch fire and blow up in mid-air. At 02:00 position 59.20. 09.16E a small boat was seen on lake and at position 58.04 09.26E a number of ships were seen heading towards the Norwegian coast.
